A New York man hailing from Flushing, Queens was recently indicted on several severe charges, including rape, in an Orange County Courtroom, the District Attorney shared.

Minor Connected with Queens Man Via Video Game
Court documents indicate that the Flushing man who was recently indicted in the Hudson Valley, met the underage victim via a video game and repeatedly met up with her in Orange County, subjecting her to sexual contact repeatedly.
Orange County DA David M. Hoovler, in a press release, announced the charges for 38-year-old Arnaldo Gil, of Flushing, who first began having conversations with a Town of Warwick minor, 13-years-old at the time, via a video game. Their contact began during the summer of 2022.
Beginning that November, Gil allegedly traveled to Orange County to pick up the child from her high school 'and bring her to various locations in the Town of Warwick, where he would subject the child to sexual contact.' From there, court records and filed documents indicate that Gil would repeatedly have sexual intercourse with the minor, 'at times in AirBnB rentals he paid for in the Town of Warwick.' These interactions took place between January of 2023 and January of 2025.
