3 Doors Down is an American rock band from Escatawpa, Mississippi that formed in 1996. The band rose to international fame with their first single, "Kryptonite", which placed in the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their debut album The Better Life came out in 2000 and ended up being the 11th-best-selling album of the year and certified 7x platinum in the United States.

3 Doors Down is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their second studio album, Away from the Sun. The album pumped out hits such as "When I'm Gone," "The Road I'm On," "Away from the Sun," and the Certified Double Platinum Hit Single "Here Without You." When the album came out in 2002, it debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart, and ended up selling eight million copies worldwide.

3 Doors Down has gone on to be one of the most celebrated rock bands of the 2000s and the 2010s. 3 Doors Down has also started The Better Life Foundation, with a goal in mind to give as many children as possible a better life. The Better Life Foundation has helped out charities such as the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Habitat for Humanity, and provided nearly a $1 million in Hurricane Katrina relief.
