Franz Ferdinand have announced 2025 North American dates in support of their upcoming album, The Human Fear. Dates begin March 24 in Seattle and from there the band play Vancouver, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Minneapolis, DC, Philadelphia, NYC, Boston, Montreal and Toronto.

The NYC show will be at Brooklyn Paramount on April 10. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, September 27 at 10 AM local time. The Human Fear is out January 10 via Domino, and you can listen to “Audacious," below!

Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 2002. Their original line-up was composed of of Alex Kapranos (lead vocals, lead guitar, keyboards), Nick McCarthy (rhythm guitar, keyboards, vocals), Bob Hardy (bass guitar, percussion) and Paul Thomson (drums, percussion, backing vocals). Julian Corrie (keyboards, lead guitar, backing vocals) and Dino Bardot (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) joined the band in 2017 after McCarthy left during the previous year, and Audrey Tait (drums, percussion) joined the band after Thomson left in 2021.

Franz Ferdinand have unveiled tour plans for North America in 2025. The tour, which kicks off in March in Seattle will make stops at storied venues across the country including Warfield in San Francisco, Anthem in Washington D.C., Brooklyn Paramount in New York and more.

Their new studio album The Human Fear which will be released on Friday, January 10th 2025 on Domino. Produced with Mark Ralph, who previously worked with them on their 2013 album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, the album showcases Franz at their most immediate, upbeat and life-affirming, unashamedly going for the pop-jugular in classic Franz style. Along with the announcement comes the music video for first single “Audacious.”
