One Hudson Valley resident is $60,000 richer today after having purchased a winning New York Lotto ticket at a local supermarket.

The Times Herald Record reports the as yet unidentified winner now has one year to come forward, but you'd think they'd want to get their hands on their money. The winning Take 5 lotto ticket was purchased at the Shop Rite on Route 211 in Wallkill.

The winning numbers were 05-10-24-26-38, so you may want to double check your ticket if you bough one in the area. Even if you didn't win the grand prize, which ended up being $60,441.50, there were 223 $400 winners.

According to the New York State Lotto, overall chances of winning a Take 5 game are 1 in 8.77, while you have a 1 in 575,575 chance to win the grand prize. Drawings are nightly at 11:21, 5 winning numbers chosen at random from 39 numbered balls.

In order to claim a major lotto prize, it must be done at a Lottery service center, the closest of which is in Fishkill right off route 9.
