Nike has released limited versions of the Back to the Future sneakers before... but they're not messing around anymore.

You remember how Marty McFly had the best shoe game of all-time; those power laces have been lusted after by sneakerheads and average joes alike since 1989.

But now it's time to get serious.

According to NiceKicks.com, the promise of Back to the Future II-style Nike MAGs with power laces is going to be fulfilled, with Nike officially filing a patent for them.

Tinker Hatfield--the man responsible for designing the Jordans that changed the entire athletic shoe industry--is behind it, so you know it's going to be legendary. And, of course, they've gotta come out this year, with 2015 being the year featured in BTTF2.
