Unique Way Hudson Valley Can Get Their Irresistible Krispy Kremes

If there's something the Hudson Valley isn't shy about, it's voicing their opinions about what we are missing out on in the local area.

Whether about eateries, like begging for more easily accessible Chic-Fil-A locations, justifying a local White Castle, gas station/convenience spots like Buc-ee's and Wawa, or grocery stores like Trader Joes and Wegmans, we do have quite a lot here in the Hudson Valley, but there's always room for more...especially when it comes to doughnuts.

The Coveted Krispy Kreme Doughnut

Although we are lucky to have some pretty phenomenal home grown and locally owned donut places in the Hudson Valley, people still seem to go a little crazy to get their hands on a Krispy Kreme doughnut, or 12.

These sweet glazed circles bring happiness to those who manage to find them, as here in the Hudson Valley our closest Krispy Kreme retail location is the Bronx and in NYC, if you don't count the local grocery stores that have a doughnut display that includes these babies.

So, how can the Hudson Valley look forward to getting their fill of Krispy Kreme without buying from the grocery store, traveling at least an hour, or finding a local kid doing a doughnut fundraiser?

McDonald's & Krispy Kreme Announce Partnership

It looks like McDonald's will soon be the answer to our Krispy Kreme prayers, as they recently announced they have teamed up with the donut company for a national partnership, and anticipate a phased market rollout over the next year or so.

Representatives state that the doughnuts will be available while supplies last each day, and can be individually or in boxes of six, starting at breakfast. Flavors include the original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and chocolate iced kreme filled.

Tariq Hassan, McDonald's USA's Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer shared that the company has continued to offer new menu items since introducing breakfast nearly 50 years ago, and that the test run of the Krispy Kreme doughnuts at McDonald's went extremely well across the 160 locations it was launched in.

Our fans' love for Krispy Kreme runs deep, and we can't wait to make it even easier for them to satisfy their sweet tooth at McDonald's restaurants across the country.

In addition to 'doubling their points of access' with this new partnership, Krispy Kreme plans to have nationwide availability of their doughnuts at participating McDonald's restaurants by the end of 2026.
