The rich history of the Hudson Valley, NY means that there are ghost stories around every corner... but one abandoned town in Ulster County, NY has been singled out as "the most haunted".

It seems like New Yorkers love a good haunting. From the best haunted hotel in America in Nichols, NY to the ghost town in the Adirondacks, seekers of the paranormal have options in nearly every county. The house on Lundy Road, however, may have the most street cred of them all.

Is This the Most Haunted Building in Ulster County, NY?

"I took pictures of this place in Wawarsing, only to find out later that it is one of the most haunted properties in Ulster County", said Robert Hoover, a local photographer in the Hudson Valley on Facebook. His pictures show the state of a building that has been sitting dormant for decades... but did he have a paranormal experience?

The photos are creepy on their own, but the question of the day was if Robert had experienced anything that could be attributed to a haunting. "I didn’t feel anything", he reported, "except when I tried to leave my motorcycle wouldn’t start for no particular reason and the back end kicked up when I pulled out, I turned to look and nothing was there". It's far from the only abandoned New York property sought out by explorers.
