It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like…Signature Festive Holiday Cups

Ah, tis' the season to be holly, jolly, and even a little over the top when it comes to getting your hands on the hottest items of the season.  Just like each summer when we anxiously await the announcement of when our local coffee shops will bring the PSLs out of the vault for the fall season, coffee aficionados (and others who just go crazy for these specialty seasonal cups) have been waiting for the news.  Guess who has announced the roll-out for the 2022 holiday cup designs!?

Starbucks Announces Four New Holiday Cup Designs Launching November 3rd

'Offering the comforts and cheer of the season, each wrapped up like a gift' - that's just the cups, the beverages and holiday menu will also be available effective November 3rd, but people seem more excited for the festive cup designs than what comes in them.  Remember back in 2020, the frenzy that went along with their free cup promotion?

This year, Starbucks shared that they have created 'a collection of holiday motifs...to add a sense of seasonal joy.' This year, when it comes to the designs, fans and collectors can expect gift tags on the back of each cup design, some with sparkles, others with ornaments, snowflakes, even ribbon and tape.

These annual holiday cup designs always get a great deal of attention, are a hot commodity of the holiday season, and believe it or not, are celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2022. The world was first introduced to the Starbucks holiday cups back in 1997, and have gone through a pretty big evolution over the past two plus decades.

What's The Starbucks Seasonal Menu Looking Like For 2022

Although the cups are indeed the stars of the show, for those interested in the food and drinks, they will be bringing back the fan favorites like Peppermint Mocha (personal favorite), Caramel Brûlée Latte, and the Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, among others.  As for new-to-you Starbucks menu items, it's looking like a Chocolate Pistachio Swirl pastry joins the returning favorite seasonal items on the food side.
