Right here in the Hudson Valley, there are three big county fairs, Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange. They all offer their own unique experiences, and it is worth traveling to them all.

The Dutchess County Fair has announced its Grandstand entertainment and put tickets on sale for this year's events. The Dutchess County fairgrounds also has many non-fair events you can also attend throughout the year.

A Hudson Valley Fair is Bringing Back Its Rock Hunt

In addition to the big county fairs, the Hudson Valley also has small community fairs that are very enjoyable. One of those events is the Country Fair, Otisville, New York. This fair brings together fun and local flavor. It is held at 300 Finchville Turnpike on July 24th through the 27th, 2025.

One of the more popular events at the Country Fair in Otisville is returning this year. The Rock Hunt will give you a chance to explore the fair and possibly win something cool. More than 100 rocks will be hidden around the fairground with two of them offering a special prize.
