31,000 Yankee Candles Recalled

Yankee Candle Company is holding a recall for 31,000 of their candles. Reportedly, when the candles are lit, the glass container that the candle is in can crack. There have been 16 reports of the issue, with no reported injuries.

The recall effects the following item numbers and fragrances. The item number is printed on a label on the bottom of the jar.

• 1535651 Sea Salt & Coral
• 1535890 Blackberry & Sage
• 1535891 Apple Blossom & Melon
• 1535892 Sugarcane & Honey
• 1535893 Pine & Sandalwood
• 1535894 Cinnamon & Cedar

If you have one of the candles, you are to return them to a Yankee Candle store for a full refund. Yankee Candle is also offering you a complimentary candle when you return the recalled one to help offset any inconvenience this recall may have caused you.
