McDonald's has some good news for fans of its summer promotions.

The fast-food giant has announced that its highly popular $5 Meal Deal, initially intended as a limited-time offer, is sticking around through the fall.

After seeing a noticeable increase in sales, McDonald's has decided to extend the deal into December at most of its locations.

The $5 Meal Deal includes small fries, a four-piece Chicken McNuggets, a small soft drink, and the choice of either a McDouble or McChicken sandwich.

It’s a budget-friendly option, especially with top competitors like Burger King, Wendy's, and even Taco Bell rolling out similar value promotions.

But it doesn't stop there—McDonald's is upping the ante with additional special deals through its app. As McDonald's shared in its press release:

“More than 1 million of you celebrated National French Fry Day this July with free any-size Fries, and now fans have even more to look forward to this fall when they order on the McDonald’s App:

  - Double the fun with $0.50 Double Cheeseburgers on National Cheeseburger Day (Sept. 18)

- Grab a $2 McCrispy sandwich in honor of National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day (Nov. 9)

- Enjoy $1 10-pc Chicken McNuggets between Nov. 4 – Dec.  2 – valid 1x/week

- Continue to celebrate Free Fries Fridays – where customers can get free medium Fries with any $1 minimum purchase.”

So, whether you’re a fan of the McDouble or McChicken, you've got plenty of reasons to stay loyal to McDonald's this fall.
