An Emerson College student found out quickly there were some limits to what could be offered on AirBnB. Jack Worth, a student at Emerson College in Boston, thought that he would be able to make some extra cash, by listing his dorm room up for nightly rentals.

Jack was simply trying to raise some extra cash to help pay for his college expenses and at the same time offer those visiting the Boston area a less expensive option for their lodging. The college though did not agree with him and he is now facing penalties. When it was brought to Emersons attention, they flagged the listing on his AirBnB page, causing $150 in fines, plus the list of disciplinary actions continues to grow for Mr Worth. The college will be holding a hearing to decide how they handle this case.

In the mean time, change.org has a petition to #FreeJackWorth, where they are looking for signatures in support of Jack's entrepreneurial mission.
