Can SNL’s Colin Quinn Guess Real Alternative Band Names?

Saturday Night Live is considered the main stage of comedy. How well does SNL alumni Colin Quinn know his alternative bands? Watch as we test to see how much the former MTV host still keeps up with the current music scene.

The actor, comedian, author and Broadway star is coming to Poughkeepsie for two back to back shows at the Laugh It Up Comedy Club on Saturday, March 24. We figured while we had him on the phone that we'd test his alternative band knowledge.

We played a little game with Quinn called "Band Name or Band Lame." There a lot of bands in the alternative world that have some interesting names. We gave Quinn some real band names and some fakes ones. The comedian was tasked to guess which one was real and which one was fake.
