Carrie Fisher Thinks the New Star Wars Movie is Cursed

Princess Leia herself seems to think that the new project has an air of doom about it.

Say what you will about the Star Wars prequels' artistic validity, they still grossed $2,525,197,773 at the box office. Of course, anticipation for the next trilogy is sky high, both from a fan and financial perspective.

But there's one person who is having some dark thoughts about the entire project.

Apparently, last week she had a car accident--her first ever--and then Harrison Ford had his now-famous plane crash. Speaking to the Daily Mail, she had this to say:

‘Things happen in threes,’ she said. ‘I’m about to call Mark Hamill [who plays Luke Skywalker] to make sure he’s OK. I have a horrid feeling there’s a curse going on here.'

 

I would say that if you made it to 58 without ever having a car accident as she claims, instead of being cursed, I'd say the Force is with you.
