Colin Quinn Says He’s Going to Bring It To Poughkeepsie

SNL alumni Colin Quinn will be in Poughkeepsie this weekend and he's letting us know that after a seven-year break from stand up, he's ready to bring it.

Colin Quinn is a comedian, actor, author and Broadway star. He'll be performing two back to back shows at the Laugh it up! Comedy Club here in Poughkeepsie on March 24.

We were able to get Colin on the phone to talk about his feelings a variety of topics from Beatles vs. Rolling Stones, the city of Poughkeepsie, New York water making its pizza the best and his time on Saturday Night Live.

Quinn gets political but I've never considered him in the realm of being a political comedian.

"I consider myself an extreme moderate."

Though he's been out of the stand-up game for a few years, Quinn has been busy acting in movies and in his one-man shows on and off Broadway. His Netflix special Colin Quinn: The New York Story was directed by Jerry Seinfeld and it provides a great narrative on living in New York.
