Comedian Kathy Griffin Heading to Newburgh
If you're in the mood for some laughs from a controversial comedian, then clear your schedule for Saturday, Oct. 12.
My Life on the D List star Kathy Griffin will be performing in Newburgh that day, according to a press release.
You may know Griffin from her time on the '90s sitcom Suddenly Susan, Bravo's My Life on the D List or maybe from her cameo in Eminem's music video for The Real Slim Shady.
But you probably know her more recently as the woman who posed in a photo with a liking of President Trump and his decapitated head.
After the photo was posted, life changed for Griffin. She tells her side of the aftermath in the documentary Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story. The documentary will be shown at the St. George’s Episcopal Church in Newburgh from 1pm until 1:45pm followed by a Q & A session with Griffin. The Q & A will be moderated by journalist and advice columnist, E. Jean Carroll.
For more details on the event, you can visit the ENE Film Festival website.
