Contribute to the Back to School Supply Drive in Poughkeepsie

Back to school is just around the corner, and while some parents may be doing backflips and cheering at the thought of it, their kids are likely moping around at the the thought of the last few weeks of summer vacation.

One thing that is likely on everyone's mind, back to school supply shopping.  You hear more and more people talking about the cost of school supplies, and the increasing number of items that end up on the list each year.  This has been a source of concern for people right here in the Hudson Valley, so why not consider donating to a Back to School Supply Drive to benefit the Career Action Center at Poughkeepsie High School.

Donations are being accepted now through August 26th at the Just-A-Buck and Harmon locations at the Poughkeepsie Plaza on Rt. 9, and here's what is on the wish list:

Highlighters
Markers
12 inch Ruler
Pocket Folders
Single-Subject Spiral Notebooks
College Ruled Loose Leaf 3 Hole Paper

Weekly Planners
3-Ring Binder
Reusable water bottles
