Now Brewing: Another ‘Adult Book Fair’ Donation Event
Now in it's third year, a community oriented fundraising event to support local libraries across Orange County is quickly approaching. Books for the 'Burgh stemmed from the idea of an 'adult book fair' - yes, like the scholastic ones we used to have in elementary school where we'd spend more money on posters and erasers than actual books. Now the event draws attendees and support from across the Hudson Valley, and generates hundreds of books back into the community. Look how much fun we had last year:

Books For The 'Burgh - 3rd Annual Event
Let's set the stage for the awesome night that is in the works for us on Thursday, November 13th at Newburgh Brewing Company. A laid back atmosphere, tons of fun kids books, raffles, prizes, and of course, beer (and a sneak peek of the awesome pint glass designed especially for the event).
At the event, you'll have the chance to browse the books available on site, and you'll receive a raffle ticket for each book your purchase to win some pretty incredible prizes. We're talking an overnight stay at Resorts World Catskills, or maybe an outing at The Monster Golf Course, among other raffle options.

More Than Just Books...and Benefitting More Than Just 'The 'Burgh'
At the event itself, in addition to the book fair fun, there will be live music from Devin Daversa, as well as local artist Rob Mounier creating a canvas from scratch that will be donated to one of the participating libraries.
What book fair would be complete without posters? New for this year, a signature poster design will be for sale for $10 (does it remind anyone else of that '90's car poster from our school book fair?), with all proceeds going to the Newburgh Free Library, and the posters thanks to Dana Distributors.
The first 100 people that purchase a book will receive a tote bag (thanks to M&T Bank), a koozie (thanks to Murmuration), and everyone will take home a pint glass (thanks to The Wherehouse). You can find more information, and the official event page here, and we hope to see you on November 13th between 4pm and 11pm at Newburgh Brewing.
