Could Discovery Zone Return to the Hudson Valley?
Discovery Zone is making a comeback in certain locations in the US, could it come back to our community?
Remember Discovery Zone? The ultimate place for kids to burn off some energy and have tons of fun while they do it. I'm 99% positive that there was a Discovery Zone location in the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown. I think my brother had a birthday party there one year. But then it went away and has long been forgotten.
But according to WKDQ, Discovery Zone is coming back in certain cities in the US. Discovery Zone will be opening in Cincinnati in February 2020. Does this mean they'll be making a comeback in other locations, like the Hudson Valley? The company filed for bankruptcy in 1996 and closed all locations by 2001. But like everything else, it's getting a reboot.
Would you like to see Discovery Zone return to the Hudson Valley? I think it would be great. If you don't remember what it was, it was games, slides, mazes, ball pits, climbing structures, and a ton more. I don't have kids, but I have a young nephew who I think would love this.
