Could the Next Colonel Sanders Be From The Hudson Valley?

We've all seen the funny Colonel Sanders commercials. Could KFC have found their latest spokesperson here in the Hudson Valley?

Darlene Pheiffer is a local gem here in the Hudson Valley. She does so much for the community and she is also the owner of both the Poughkeepsie and Kingston KFC locations. She's not only the owner but she actually has ties to the original Colonel Sanders. She met him several times a a child.

As the Colonel Sanders' on TV change the guard quite often and since she would have an excellent judge of character, we decided to have her judge a few auditions right here in the Hudson Valley.

Some of the past actors to play the role have been Ray Liotta, Norm MacDonald, Jim Gaffigan, Darrell Hammond, Billy Zane and Rob Lowe.

Watch as these hopefuls try their best to score the prestigious roll of the Colonel.

Okay, so maybe we won't see any of them on TV anytime soon but at least they tried.
