This summers  Hootie & the Blowfish tour, coincided with the 30th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Cracked Rear View.


Formed originally in 1986 at the University of South Carolina, the band's journey to fame began with grassroots efforts and independent releases before signing with Atlantic Records. Cracked Rear View, released in this week in  July 1994, became a cultural phenomenon with its blend of roots rock and heartfelt lyrics, spawning unforgettable singles like "Hold My Hand," "Let Her Cry," and "Only Wanna Be With You."


Despite the ups and downs that followed their meteoric rise, including a hiatus and solo projects, Hootie & the Blowfish reunited in 2024 for a triumphant return to the stage. Their ongoing tour not only celebrates their enduring impact on music but also reaffirms their connection with a loyal fan base that spans generations.
