Crazy Weather Can’t Stop Cruise-A-Palooza 2016

The twelfth annual WRRV Cruise-A-Palooza aboard the River Rose almost didn't set sail because of some crazy weather. But not even mother nature could stop us from hitting the international waters of the Hudson River.

We departed from the Newburgh Landing around 5:20 for our three hour tour. Our house band Breaking Crazy rocked the boat from the first note. Everyone was stuffing their faces on the huge sandwiches provided by In And Out Deli in Wappingers Falls. The autographed Breaking Benjamin guitar was given away to one lucky WRRV listener just before our return. We're already planning WRRV Cruise-A-Palooza 2017.

The River Rose has daily river cruises in the summer months is available to rent for your private party or event. Captain John 'Duke' Panzella and his crew will take good care of you on board.

We didn't have any crazy party crashers like we had that one year. We'll always miss that guy who poured beer all over himself and smashed the cans on his head. We kind of wonder where he is today.
