Fans of The Cure have reason to book tickets to London, just to see that band onstage live. Where will they be performing and will Robert Smith be skinny or chunky?
The Cure will play two Christmas gigs at London's Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on December 21 and 22. And Also the Trees will support the band on both nights. Tickets are available on November 9.  "The band will be performing a 150 minute show playing songs drawn from their entire 37 year old catalogue including deep cuts, pop songs, fan favourites and surprises galore," the Cure wrote on Facebook. "Reprising the role they performed at the same venue 30 years ago each concert will also feature And Also The Trees as support These are 'Christmas Specials' not to be missed!"  Robert Smith announced earlier in the year that they plan on eventually releasing a limited edition double CD album titled 4:26 Dream, featuring 26 remixed tracks, of which 10 will be previously unreleased.   “I think 4:13 Dream is an excellent Cure album and all the B-sides are fab," he noted of the band's latest effort. "But the culmination of the project wasn't quite what it should have been, as 16 of the original 33 songs were 'left on the shelf'."
