One thing we love about the Hudson Valley is how passionate many of you (us) are about animals. Obviously all of us have different causes and organizations that are near and dear to us, but it seems like when it comes to caring for animals, especially ones that don't have homes, that we collectively step up and make sure all of our furry friends are well taken care of.

Every Can and Every Bag Makes A Difference

Specifically, they are in need of adult dog wet food, puppy wet food, both dry and wet adult cat food and kitten wet food.

Any and all brands are welcome and appreciated!

If you're feeling especially generous, you can check out their Pet Food Pantry Amazon Wishlist, linked here. Donations can be made at any time, even when the DCSPCA is not open, as they have a donation bin just outside their front door. They are located at 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park.

Food insecurity is an unfortunate reality that affects many members of our community, and we don't want our neighbors to feel like surrendering their pet is their only option when they can't afford to feed them. We’re proud to offer this program to help local families keep their pets well-fed, happy, and healthy, and with your support, we can continue to do so.
