‘Defend Trump’ Booth Pops Up in the Hudson Valley
Has anyone seen this booth in the Hudson Valley yet? Maybe you've driven past it or maybe you've stopped and signed their petition. Is there more than one?
It seems like the country is more divided now than ever. The scary thing is I said the same exact thing last month, the month prior and even the month before that.
Like most of you, the horrible acts of white supremacy, hatred and violence that took place in Charlottesville have made me ask, "Where the hell am I and what decade is this?"
By initially not denouncing neo-Nazi groups and the KKK, but rather condemning hate, it seems like now most people are at their wits end with President Trump.
You've got to admit that it's fascinating that the mere whisper of the president's name can cause confrontation. That's why I was so surprised to see this booth outside of the Pleasant Valley Post Office today.
What was their message? Despite the sign, there wasn't much defending Trump as much as they were protesting "George Soros and his funding of fake news."
I was curious about their meeting and I decided to approach them. They handed me their information on this because what says "Let's take down fake news by spreading the clear messages from The Hamiltonian?"
I hope one day I'll be able to get a job writing for The Hamiltonian.
