A marijuana dispensary has opened up in Dutchess County.

According to a press release, a new marijuana dispensary has opened in the Hudson Valley. iAnthus Capital Holdings, Inc., or iAnthus, has opened a marijuana dispensary in Wappingers Falls. The name of the dispensary will be Citiva Hudson Valley.

The press release states that the dispensary is located specifically at 1147 Route 9 in Wappingers Falls. This is a 2,600 square foot facility. It will be open seven days a week, open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. While the dispensary is open for business, it is only a medial marijuana dispensary, as recreational marijuana is not (yet) legalized in New York State.

This dispensary marks the 20th dispensary opened by iAnthus, and their second in New York State. According to the press release, iAnthus is nearing completion of a cultivation center in Warwick, part of Orange County in the Hudson Valley.

Only registered patients with a New York medical cannabis card may purchase cannabis products from Citiva Hudson Valley, according to the press release.
