Distillery to Open in Putnam County, 102 Jobs Created

102 jobs are going to be created with the opening of a new distillery in Putnam County. One of Romanian's largest distillery groups, Alexandrion Group, will be opening a new distillery in the year 2020. The group will be investing $40 million (and create 102 jobs) to construct a new 120,000 square foot facility and tasting room. The distillery will be located at 39 Seminary Hill in Carmel, NY.

According to a press release, the products that they intent to produce include, whiskey, bourbon, gin, brandy and vodka.
