Fans of a certain German beer might find themselves getting up to $50 back from the company.

If you've bought Beck's beer since early 2011 and you're the type of person who is responsible enough to save receipts, you could get some cash back, according to a class-action lawsuit.

Anheuser-Busch's claims that Beck's is a beer that "originated" in Germany misled consumers into believing it is a beer brewed in Germany, rather than the United States, causing them to pay more for the perception of the beers as an imported, premium product

The company moved production of the beer stateside in 2012 and court documents demonstrate that the switch to domestic brewing of the historically German lager have reduced costs and actually made the beer fresher, interestingly enough.

Anheuser-Busch will be liable for paying back ten cents per bottle for anyone with a receipt, and they will be making the "Made in the USA" declaration more apparent on the label.

Consumers are expected to be able to make their claims on a website starting in October.
