Newburgh Brewing Company Launches New NBC Arcade Game

We certainly love games and we most definitely love beer, so the opportunity to combine the two at one of the Hudson Valley's favorite hangouts is an obvious win in our book.

Hot off the press, Newburgh Brewing Company OFFICIALLY has their own homegrown arcade game, this is NBC Arcade!

The Newburgh Brewing Arcade started with me wondering if I could make a simple game using the art and characters from our beer labels. I don't know how to code, but modern AI tools have let me build a lot of useful things for the business, this one just happens to be public-facing and a lot more fun. I grew up on classic games in the '80s and '90s, and I'm hoping the arcade brings people back to that, or shows a younger crowd how good those older games were. Happy Hour is the first release, with more in the pipeline. Players can win gift cards, merch, and discount codes just for playing, and if you're in the taproom there's an hourly contest for a discount on your tab.

NBC Arcade: Play For Prizes

The concept is quite simple, the crew at Newburgh Brewing Company has 'leveled up' and created their own arcade game where players can earn points, discounts, and win prizes (in real time if you play while at the brewery, too).

There are different levels of play, but basically you'll get to play bartender, pouring beers, sending them down the bar to thirsty customers. Your pouring skills and agility with the products will earn you points, while dropping an empty or smashing a beer will cost you lives.

Must be 21 to play, ID will be checked at pickup and delivery for winners. One hourly prize per person per day, and if you're a gift card winner, you'll sit out a bit to allow others to win big. No purchase necessary, winning codes are single use and not cash/no cash back.

There's a bunch of awesome things to win in the NBC Arcade, let's run them down:

If you're playing while in the taproom during open hours AND with your location on, you could score $8 off anything at the bar if you're the top scorer that hour.
Weekly, there will be prizes for the top three:
- Top score = gift card, 2nd place = t-shirt and a pint glass, 3rd prize has their pick between a shirt or a glass.
  - Winners must pick up at the bar within two weeks of winning, and one prize per player every four weeks.
If you're a big scorer, you'll have the chance to unlock a % off beer delivery which upgrades as you beat your score...SCORE!
