
Damages At Two Local Recreation Fields After Recent Snowstorm
Following last weekend's post-Christmas snowstorm that dropped quite a few inches of snow across the Hudson Valley, two Dutchess County recreation departments have shared concerning information and photos about damages sustained after vehicles drove on their snow covered fields.

East Fishkill Recreation Shares 'Severely Damaged' Field Photos
On Monday December 29th just after 1pm, the East Fishkill Recreation Department shared on social media concerning photos and information about damages to their field over the weekend.
In the early morning hours of December 27th, around 2:00 AM, five ATVs drove through our park and tore up McGrath Field. To say we are upset is an understatement. This field has already endured a difficult year, and our team has invested countless hours and significant resources into its care and restoration.
The post when on to detail that seeing the extent of the damage once the staff was on site Monday was 'truly heartbreaking.'
East Fishkill Recreation put out an ask to the community, asking that if anyone local heard or saw anything, or may have any information that can assist in finding out who caused the field damage, to please contact the East Fishkill Police Department at 845.221.2111.

Town of LaGrange Identifies Those Responsible For Field Damages
Just hours following the EF Recreation posts, a similar one went up from the Town of LaGrage Parks and Recreation Department, only this time they shared photos of two white trucks driving on their fields.
They asked for anyone who may 'recognize these boys' who caused significant properly damage after driving on the fields after the snowstorm. Thankfully, they posted an update soon after:
