Live Music Back On At This Popular New York Venue
Let there be music! Certainly music to my ears, but i'm guessing not so much for those that live in this highly populated neighborhood in Queens...
It's been a wild few months with this venue saying 'yes, we'll have a 2025 season' while community members were saying 'no, no more loud music and congested streets,' but the word is out, concerts are back on in Queens for 2025.

Concerts Back On At Forest Hills Stadium
As of Monday, April 14th, it was confirmed that live music, a full season's worth, will return to Forest Hills Stadium in Queens for 2025. Several NY-based news outlets shared the news, including The Gothamist, who reports that 'concerts are back on after NYC brokers deal with residents.
In what they referred to as a 'bitter standoff between the venue and a group of nearby residents who had blocked the required city permits,The Gothamist indicated that 'some changes have been implemented ahead of the upcoming concert season to assist with concerns from residents.
Queens Borough President Donovan Richards announced Monday that Tiebreaker Productions — the stadium’s concert partner — has agreed to hire private security to manage the privately owned streets around the venue. That move satisfied concerns from the Forest Hills Gardens Corporation, which had previously refused to grant the NYPD access to close those streets, leaving the department unable to issue sound amplification permits.

Neighbors Concerned Over Noise, 'Destruction' Near Venue
As was reported late last month, residents living near the famous tennis stadium turned concert venue had serious concerns over noise ordinance, crowds, and even litter and disruption to the area. The stadium itself is nestled in a residential area of Queens and members of a neighborhood association were quite vocal about their concerns, even managing to block police from streets for crowd control via their efforts.
As it stands now, the 2025 season will kick off with Bloc Party on 5/31, and includes 18 shows that run through late October. Two nights from Phish, as well as two nights from Mumford and Sons, The Black Keys, and Alabama Shakes are among some of the current scheduled shows.
