Foster Boy’s Story Has Happy Ending

Follow up: In October of 2013 Davion Only video taped himself, while speaking at his church, asking for someone, anyone to adopt him. Here is that video:

After this video went viral, over 10,000 people contacted Davion's social worker to inquire about adopting him. Davion was even placed with a minister, and though that maybe he was in his forever home. Sadly, after an altercation with his would be older brother, things did not work out and he ended up "back in the system".

Davion reached out to the only woman who has been "on his team" since he was 7, his case worker, Connie Bell Going. He asked asked her every year if she would just adopt him. Every year, she hesitated. Her reasoning? She thought that there was someone out there that would be able to provide him with a better family life.

This time, Connie gave him a different answer. She spoke with her family and began the adoption process. April 22, 2015, it will be official.  Davion Only will have a family.
