Netflix Show Films Across The Hudson Valley in 2024

Local actors and actresses were buzzing in the fall of 2024 after learning a new streaming service would be filming in the area.

Back in October of 2024 filming began around Dutchess County around Vassar College and Main Street in Beacon on a new Netflix series.

As filming continued throughout the fall we learned the project starred some of the biggest names in comedy like Tina Fey, Steve Carell and Will Forte.

We later learned that said Netflix show was called The Four Seasons and was based off of the Alan Alda 80s movie of the same name.

The Four Season Premiers Of Netflix With Many Hudson Valley Easter Eggs

After filming wrapped right before Thanksgiving, fans were eager to see how the Hudson Valley would be incorporated into the show.

The first trailer dropped for The Four Seasons in March of 2025 and right away Hudson Valley residents were able to spot local places on their screens. The show was slated for release on May 1st, 2025.

Once The Four Seasons hit Netflix it was an immediate hit grabbing the #1 spot for its first weekend and a days after its release.

Vassar College, The Vinyl Room, and Wonder Bar are just some local hot spots that were seen throughout the show. However, the Fall episodes of Four Seasons are goldmine of Hudson Valley Easter eggs.

Will Four Seasons Be Back in the Hudson Valley Next Season?

Since The Four Seasons has been such a hit for Netflix, it's only right they bring it back for season 2.

Plus, it ends on what some may consider a bit of a cliff hanger. It will be really interesting to see how the group of friends will navigate life after such changes.

Thankfully, Netflix agrees. They announced earlier this week that Season 2 of The Four Seasons is confirmed!

What we really want to know is if they are going to come back to the Hudson Valley to film the follow up season.

While we don't have any definite answers, we'd like to suggest to the Netflix big wigs to bring it back to the region for maybe a Vassar graduation scene or let one of the characters take a stroll across the Walkway Over the Hudson.
