Gaming Commission To Select Hudson Valley Casino Locations In December

It's looking like we'll find out which counties will be receiving casinos before the end of 2014. Lo Hud is reporting the New York Gaming Commission will make it's decision, and announce to the public on December 17th.

Of the 16 statewide proposals, 4 are expected to be approved. The areas include Albany, Orange/Sullivan counties and the Finger Lakes region.

There is speculation that the Orange and Sullivan region could be approved for as many as 2 casinos.
