Hasbro Helping Hudson Valley Parents Recycle Old Toys
Parents, do you have toys that your kids no longer play with? Maybe they are damaged so you can't pass them on to another family or even sell them at a garage sale? What do you do with them, add them to the trash?
The toy company, Hasbro is looking to give new life to their old toys and games. They are testing a recycling program with TerraCycle which will turn those old toys into things like playgrounds, park benches, flower pots and other products.
The program is being tested in the US, but hopes to be successful enough to expand world wide. To participate, go to Hasbro Toy Recycling to sign up for the program and get info on a free shipping label.
