In 2012, microdairy and creamery Edgwick Farm began production. They produce milk and cheese from their stable of friendly goats. In fact, the goats are so friendly that Edwik Farm offers winter tours so you can meet them! This is normally a fall activity however, their baby goats or "kids" if I want to use official nomenclature are born in early winter.

In order to provide an unforgettable educational experience, Edwick Farm open their doors for their farmer's market patrons and families. You'll be able to see the process of crafting locally sourced goat cheese and best of all, meet the dairy goats that make it all possible.

Earlier in the season, cuddling with baby goats helps keep you warm and creates a unique selfie opportunity sure to increase your Instagram likes. As the babies age, you might want to mingle with them in the exercise yard and find out for yourself how active these future milk producers are.

Winter tours at Edwick Farm are open from Jan 17 – April 29 on Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun 10 am and 2 pm. They are by appointment only and you can purchase tickets by clicking here.

More information can be found on Edwick Farm's website.
