Hip-Hop Legend DMX Returns To The Hudson Valley
Hudson Valley native and hip-hop legend, DMX is set to return to The Chance in Poughkeepsie this winter. On Saturday, February 10th he'll take the big stage and play hits like 'Party' Up (Up In Here)'.
This isn't DMX first time at The Chance. He last appeared in February of 2016. Despite having some issues in his personal life over the years, he still knows how to rock the house.
DMX' real name is Earl Simmons, he was born in Mount Vernon and raised in Yonkers. Besides hip hop, he's made several appearences in movies and TV, including South Park, Mad TV and the Chappelle Show.
His personal struggles have been well publicized over the years, having had many run-ins with the law. In July he was charged with 14 counts of tax evasion going all the way back to the year 2000. If convicted he could spend up to 44 years in jail, the IRS claims he owes $1.7 million.
