This Seasonal Novelty Item Has Officially Hit New York Shelves
Feels like just yesterday we were pulling the lights off the house (in negative 12 degree weather), neatly organizing the ornaments in their storage boxes and packing up the remnants of Christmas 2023, and yet, here we are....already.
Signs of the 2024 'fall and winter' holiday season have already popped up all over the area, with a Spirit Halloween store on what feels like every corner, and stores already shifting the back to school displays for holiday finds.
Keep The Change, Ya Filthy Animal...
I happened to be driving on 17 in New Jersey the other day, and made a quick (but expensive) stop at one of my favorite Italian markets, Uncle Giuseppe's in Ramsey. Yes, I know we have an 'Uncle G's' in Yorktown, but I was passing by, so I stopped.
After filling my shopping cart with my usual picks, fresh pasta, cheese (so much cheese), and some of their store-made goodies like arancini, I was making a beeline over to the bakery when I spotted this out of the corner of my eye.
Now, i'm not someone who typically buys coffee creamer, so this is not a section I look at frequently, but it you look a little closer, you may see what caught my attention....
What in the Home Alone is happening here?

Upon further inspection (opening the glass door to get a better look), there are several Home Alone themed International Delight creamers and iced coffee flavors launched ahead of the holiday season.
These limited edition picks 'tap into the nostalgic feelings and flavors of the season that can't be found anywhere else,' this according to International Delight.
This year's lineup includes Frosted Sugar Cookie Creamer, Peppermint Mocha Creamer, Peppermint Mocha Zero Sugar Creamer and Peppermint Mocha Iced Coffee, and brand new Hot Chocolate Marshmallow Creamer; all of which have 'full scene takeovers' from both Home Alone 1 and 2.
Now I want them all...look what ya did ya little jerk.
