On Thursday, February 27, 2020, tickets for the New York State Fair went on sale. This isn't an ordanairy sale though because the tickets were super discounted, all the way down to $2 a ticket. According to Syracuse.com, the ticket prices were slashed for the first 10,000 tickets at this price.

If you mised the $2 tickets don't worry. Syracuse.com says that prices will be slashed again for the New York State fair on April 1. The price will dropped down to $3 online. Tickets bought at the gate will go from $10 to $5. You can get the online $3 tickets up to the start of the fair. On the last day of the New York State Fair, which is Labor Day, tickets will still be $1.

However, with all the good means that there must be a little bad. According to Syracuse.com, the $6 advance tickets at sold at local shopping centers will be discontinued.

Earlier this week, fair officials announced ticket prices would be slashed for the upcoming fair. Tickets bought at the gate are dropping from $10 to $5. Additionally, the fair will sell $3 online tickets starting April 1. Those online tickets can be purchased even after the fair opens.
