Hudson Valley Feature Film Seeks Classic Cars
A movie that will be filmed here in the Hudson Valley is on the hunt for classic cars. So if you or something you know has a vintage automobile sitting in the garage, why not put it in a movie?
The Hudson Valley Film Commission reports that an upcoming feature film shooting in the Catskill area is looking for vehicles from 1948 and earlier. The production will pay you for the time and they are only needed for a few days. Here's a look at what they are specifically searching for: Any photos and additional details on the car can be sent to Amy at amyteitter@gmail.com.
- Morris from between the years 1938-48.
- Taxi from 1938-1948 (needed for one, possibly two days)
- Delivery truck 1938-48. They are looking for a milk truck with an open back.
- An additional car from the period is needed for the background of another scene.
If you'd like to submit your vintage automobile for future consideration, send a picture directly to the Film Commission at filmcommission@me.com so they can have it on file.
