The writer behind films like Being John Malkovich, Adaptation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is preparing to make a movie in the Hudson Valley and seeks high school age talent. Casting directors Heidi Eklund and Amy Hutchings are on the lookout for both union and non-union talent to fill background roles in a Charlie Kaufman production.

A post to the Hudson Valley Film Commission Facebook page reveals filming is set for April 17th and 18th, the production seeks young men and women who are 18 years or older and look like high schoolers. Young males will need a black tuxedo or suit and women will need a formal gown. Anyone interested in being considered MUST fill out the comprehensive form below. Kaufman's long career includes time at National Lampoon and as a writer for television as well as movies. He wrote for Chris Elliot's Get a Life as well as the Dana Carvey show. He's been nominated for four Academy Awards and is considered one of the best writers of his generation.
