The Hudson Valley is home to some amazing hiking. Mount Beacon, the Shawangunk Mountains, and Breakneck Ridge are just some of the most popular trails. The hike was named amongst 19 others to make up the list of "20 of the World's Most Romantic Hikes" from Brides.

Gertrude's Nose in New Paltz was ranked by Brides as the 15th most romantic hike in the world. This followed hikes from locations like Portugal, Greece, and New Zealand.
