It will be hard to avoid the rain this weekend.   Yes, I use the word rain.  Most areas will see rain and we are talking rain not showers.  The hill towns could see some snow.  By snow we mean a dusting, otherwise it will be sleet and maybe some freezing rain.

A costal storm will begin to spread rain into Hudson Valley after midnight on Friday into Saturday morning.  Saturday is the worse day of the weekend, with rain and gusty winds.  Rain will give way to showers late Saturday night and might see some showers on Sunday.  Sunday will be cooler and unsettled but not the washout that Saturday will be.

Temps will stay in the mid 40’s on Saturday and low 50’s on Sunday.  Showers stick around for Monday.
