Massive fish weighing over 40 pounds were caught in the Hudson River in the Hudson Valley.

Towards the end of a long and unsuccessful fishing day, Tom Angell felt a huge tug at his pole. Moments later Angell reeled in a 40-inch fish that weighed 31.8 pounds.

Angell told WPDH the massive fish was caught north of Germantown using live herring. He says it was the only fish he caught that day.
