Don’t Wait for Hudson Valley Balloon Fest, Go Now

The Hudson Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival is an annual summer tradition, but why should you wait until July to try to go up into a hot air balloon? There are many reasons to go hot air ballooning, Mother's Day, engagement celebration, a special birthday occasion or how about, 'just because you can?'

Here are just a few places in the Hudson Valley that can make this 'wish' come true for you:

• Adventure with Altitude Ballooning
  Trips are available with advanced reservations April-September and most flights will last 45 - 60 minutes.
• Blue Sky Balloons
  Trips are available with advanced reservations April-October. Most of their flights are done in the morning. As an option, if you are taking the train to get to Poughkeepsie, these guys will pick you up.
• Above The Clouds
  Trips are available with advanced reservations, occasionally they will be able to book a last minute trip (according to their website) but they ask for at least two weeks in advance. They have multiple balloons and can accommodate four to eight passengers. Most flights last about an hour.
