I need a little help. What on Earth is this thing? Is that even the right question? This thing might not even be from this planet.

Weird insects and other pests have made a lot of local headlines lately. Asian Murder Hornets, Giant Cicada Killers and snakes have been hitting our news feeds hard.

There is one insect that has got some residents of the Hudson Valley really bugged.

I realize that we might be on the tip of the iceberg when it comes to weird bugs but wee we need some answers. Many people want to know what this thing is. It was spotted hanging on an ATM by a resident in Beacon. Is it dangerous? Is it poisonous?

Do we have any entomologists in the Hudson Valley? Who can identify this thing?

How do we defend ourselves from them? Flamethrower?
