It is truly all about the little things in life. Now that Spring has sprung, many of us are shedding out seasonal depression and taking advantage of the warmer and sunnier weather. It's nice to see many of the flowers and trees in bloom lately. Watching all the woodland creatures come back out from hibernation can be really adorable. Besides the natural beauty around us, there are certain landmarks and man-made things that can leave a genuine impression.

I was driving down to Westchester to visit my grandmother in a rehab facility. Fortunately, it was a beautiful day already, and traffic was pretty clear. As I drove up to the Stop Sign at the intersection of Winston Lane and Sprout Brook Road, I noticed that there was something else written on the Stop Sign. Many times, I've seen plenty of vandalism defacing signs, but not this time. The sign read, "Don't STOP Beleiving."

It is such a simple gesture, but it is one that has lasted with me. There are plenty of times where I am on the road, and I'll get road rage. It's easy to lose yourself to aggression on the road. That, or if you're by yourself in the car for a while, it is easy to lose yourself in thought and go down some wild rabbit holes. Sometimes those rabbit holes take you down some not-so-nice places. We can easily get swept up in the rush of life where we do forget to believe. Little "signs" like that are powerful, and you never know who it will impact and how it may help.
