Could ‘A Quiet Place 3’ Return to the Hudson Valley?

A Quiet Place Franchise Films in The Hudson Valley

Back in 2017 rumors started to swirl about a horror movie filming in and around the Hudson Valley.

As we learned more, we found out it was a project from actor John Krasinski (Jim from The Office!) and it was going to be his directorial debut.

Krasinski would star in the film alongside his wife Emily Blunt. A Quiet Place filmed all across the Hudson Valley from Dutchess and Putnam County to Orange and Ulster.

One of the most iconic shots took place right on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail.

A Quiet Place hit theaters in April 2018 and was an instant hit. So much to that a 2nd installment was immediately in the works.

A Quiet Place 2 came back to film in the Hudson Valley and across Upstate, New York in 2019.

The premier was delayed several times due to COVID-19, but ended up hitting theaters in May 2021 and again took audiences by storm.

Now, it looks like a part 3 is in the works!

Third Installment of A Quiet Place is in The Works

Director John Krasinski took so social media to share details of a A Quiet Place Part III. Kind of.

Krasinski shared pictures of several scripts with the actors and actresses names watermarked across the front.

Entertainment Weekly broke down the details last week. Emily Blunt returns as Evelyn Abbot with Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe returning as her children.

Cillian Murphy, who appeared in A Quiet Place Part II, will return for Part III as Emmett a survivor from Upstate, New York.

Additionally, Jack O'Connell from the award winning film Sinners was added to the 'Quiet Place' cast as well as Katy O'Brian from the film Twisters.

A Quiet Place Part III will hit theaters July 30th, 2027.

Will Part III head back to the Hudson Valley for filming? We haven't seen or heard any confirmation from local production studios, but we'll definitely be keeping an eye out.
