Emma Stone and Chris Pine Movie ‘The Catch’ Is Filming in Dutchess County

Every once in a while you'll see yellow signs pop up around random neighborhoods across the Hudson Valley.

Over the years we learned that these are directional signs for movie and television production crews on filming locations.

We've gotten use to the yellow signs, and as a Dutchess County resident I've seen a few of said signs. Recently the signs have been up for Best Medicine, but a new one popped up that caught my eye.

Yellow Signs Pop Up Again in Wappingers Falls

While driving near Sheaf Road behind the Poughkeepsie Galleria, I noticed one of those infamous yellow signs.

I figured it was just another sign for Best Medicine, however, this yellow set sign said "Keychain."

As I drove further on Sheaf Road I noticed some lights and what looked like tv or movie production rigs in the area of Sheaf Road Elementary School, near the Palpung Thubten Choling Monastery.

So I did what anyone would do and looked it up. All I could come up with was casting calls for a project called Keychain.

Said project has filmed mostly down in the Queens area, and even filmed at Citi Field.

What is Keychain and What is Filming in Dutchess County?

Of course, my curiosity got the best of me and I started asking around.

Sources tell us that Keychain is actually the code word for a new movie starring Emma Stone and Chris Pine called The Catch.

So far all we know is that it's a romantic comedy and is being described as a Bull Durham type film with a Notting Hill vibe.

Once we learn more and if we hear anything about new filming locations we'll make sure to update this post.
