Comedian, television show host, and activist Jon Stewart announced his return to Comedy Central and a visit to the Hudson Valley.

Jon Stewart Returns to the Daily Show

Earlier this week, Jon Stewart returned to Comedy Central's The Daily Show. You may remember that Stewart first started hosting the political comedy talk show back in 1999. The comedian has quite the run, ending his hosting duties in 2015.

That's when Trevor Noah took over and hosted the show until 2022. Since then, The Daily Show has had many guests host to fill the vacant seat. Now in 2024, Jon Stewart has returned to save the day. For a limited time that is.

It's a political year after all, so why not bring back one of the best to ever do it on The Daily Show? Stewart will sit behind the desk every Monday night for election coverage. Monday, February 12th was his first night back on the show and he was welcomed with open arms.
